Fulfillment

Fulfillment -
3D sculpture with consumerism
My concept started from thinking about the relationship between capitalism and art. Could they be correlated with one another? Or does the art have nothing to do with capitalism?
I have come across with an idea for fulfilling those two factors in a sculpture.
Inspiration comes from sculptures from the museums in which the arms are missing, the noses are gone, and sometimes only the head is left.
I wanted to fill in the missing part of sculptures with consumerism.
Used a 3D scanner app to scan a sculpture at the Metropolitan Museum.

Then brought the file to Zbrush to retouch and trim. After that, I imported it to Maya to sculpt the missing parts as well as the accessories and items from the recent fashion collections. Then, I created the texture in Zbrush. And 3D printed the model.
